The Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) was founded and started rating games in the year 1994. It is a self-regulatory organization that assigns age and content ratings and enforces industry-adopted advertising guidelines for computer and video games in the United States and Canada.
In addition to the letter-based rankings, official ESRB ratings include an appropriate Content descriptor of potentially objectionable content. Those associated with a T rating are:
