Gargoyle's Quest

"User summary, details The Gargoyle's Quest series is a spin-off from the Ghosts 'N Goblins series of games, featuring the demon gargoyle Firebrand (Red Arremer in Japan), a recurring enemy, as the protagonist. Each game makes use of mild RPG elements and heavy use of platforming, during which the player utilizes Firebrand's power of flight and ability to breath fire to avoid hazards and defeat enemies. Although Firebrand has continued to appear in the Ghosts 'N Goblins series and various Capcom crossover releases, there has not been a new game in the Gargoyle's Quest series since 1994."
