The Geek crew is a mix of employees and volunteers who want to help you use and understand the database. We are here to help! The names and avatars of each admin, along with a short description of their areas of responsibility, are listed in the chart below under their associated domain name.
Please be aware that many admins volunteer their time and may not be able to respond to you in a timely manner. Additionally, while most admins can approve, decline, or edit database entries, they cannot edit the site's underlying code or implement new features; for questions along those lines, please consult the Programmers and General Staff section or (again) write to us through our contact page.

Doujin games are awesome! I can't read Japanese!

My focus is on the Japanese games scene, what we call doujin games. Doujin means independent, and the Japanese amateur publishing scene is massive and complex. With nearly 1000 different groups exhibit twice yearly at the Tokyo Game Market, the number of new games grows exponentially. I deal only with Japanese game designers, publishers, games and I am always open to new helpers.

Support comes in many forms: community involvement, forum posts, submitting data, running PbF games, word-of-mouth advertising, financial donations... All these are vital to this site, and you have my sincere thanks for participating in any of them.
Currently: planning.

I have an extensive knowledge of the site's structure from the point of view of a user, so can typically point you in the right direction for tips on how to use RPG Geek.Amongst other things, I can help you with:
- Moderating and editing database content
- Issuing microbadges (but not moderating or editing them)
- Moving and pinning forum posts
- Moderating and moving images
- Moderating and moving files
- Approving RPG-related guilds
From an RPG perspective, I am the admin with the most knowledge on gamebooks and LARPs. (I have plenty of experience with tabletop RPGs too.)
I am based in the UK, so my time zone is broadly UTC+0 from November to March and UTC+1 from April to October. I am typically on-line during weekdays, with more limited availability on evenings and weekends.
To get involved in helping improve the site yourself, consider looking at:

It was January 2012 when I peeked into RPGG, and it was down the rabbit hole with one-way ticket. I've only been playing RPGs since 2012, but the hobby has already brought so much joy and happiness into my life and I can't imagine anything ever taking the place of RPGs in my heart.I found my home at RPGG, and in July 2013 I became one of the RPG Geek Admins. My goal is to help in any way I can to keep the community growing and being as welcoming and amazing as it is. I'm the Microbadge Manager at RPGG and handle microbadge approvals, fixes, organizing etc. I monitor the microbadge fixes and microbadge transparency fixes threads at BGG and I can also hand out non-purchasable microbadges. In addition I'm doing some forum moderation, and help with anything else I can help with.

RPGG is my home on the web, I'm always playing games through the forums or running challenges so that I'm never away for long.I became an admin January 2020. I'm helping out by handing out microbadges, a task which goes perfectly with running various challenges around RPGG.

I got tapped to be an Admin on Feb. 15, 2012, possibly to staunch the number of submissions that I personally contribute; I might as well be doing something constructive on the site as long as I'm here so much. My main goal is going to try to be as helpful for users who are new to the submission process as Bob was to me when I first started.
Speaking of Bob, he and I work in tandem for most of the new game submissions to the database, especially with regard to untangling often confusing information that may (or may not be) available for a given product. I also try to keep the Image queues moving along briskly as the RPGG Image Admin.
Now that Bob has more or less stepped down from his main Admin duties, I will be performing the majority of RPG database approvals, as well as continuing to act as RPG Image Admin.

Heavily into RPGs from the very early days of D&D including being an organiser of Arcanacon, a major Australian RPG convention, until Daughter The Elder was born and we ran out of spare time. Covered lots of stuff last century, D&D everything up to AD&D 2nd edition, Call of Cthulhu, RuneQuest, various systemless and other stuff in convention tournaments. Moved much more into Boardgames since then. General Admin about town, or Admin Without Portfolio on RPG and BGG. Forums, etc.

I've started roleplaying with Advanced Dungeons & Dragons (2nd Edition), followed by Vampire: The Dark Ages, GURPS (3rd Edition) and Dungeons & Dragons (3rd Edition). After that, I've ventured into the realm of a home brew system, URG, created by a friend of mine. I'm still hoping to create the perfect (for me) RPG system, and I'm collecting RPG systems for inspiration (as well as collecting RPG settings for inspiration for my own settings). As a result, I know a bit of a lot of systems, but there's little I know in detail, as I seldom venture past the core books.
I joined as an RPGG admin on June 22th, 2009. These days, I focus more on BGG, and am mostly involved with awards on the RPGG.
