Alea Revised Big Box Series

alea was started as a new label within Ravensburger in 1999. Each of their games in a particular sized box is numbered in order of publication, yielding their Revised Big Box Series, the Alea Revised Medium Box Series, the Alea Big Box Series, the Alea Medium Box Series, the Alea Small Box Series, and the Alea Very Small Box Series.

In April 2019 (Germany)/September 2019 (North America) alea launched a new line, similar in size to their old big box line, but featuring a new art aesthetic and numbering system. The first game released in this series was an updated Las Vegas and Las Vegas Boulevard combination, Las Vegas Royale. German press coverage of this indicates that this new series might be the going-forward design for alea games, but its not perfectly clear if this is certain.
