Alea small box series

alea was started as a new label within Ravensburger in 1999. Each of their games in a particular sized box is numbered in order of publication, yielding their Small Box Series, the Alea Big Box Series, the Alea Revised Big Box Series, the Alea Medium Box Series, and the Alea Very Small Box Series.

The "small box" games and their respective year of initial publication are:

1. Wyatt Earp (2001)
2. Royal Turf (2001)
3. Die Sieben Weisen (2002)
4. Edel, Stein & Reich (2003)
5. San Juan (2004)

On 1 February 2014, Stefan Bruck of Alea confirmed that the Small Box series would not be continued due to manufacturing limitations.
