From time to time, contests appear on the Geek in which users are encouraged to participate. Contests come in two types:
Official Contests — BGG conducts such contests, typically in collaboration with a sponsoring game company. These contests can be accessed from the "Sponsored Contests" module of the BGG dashboard.
Unofficial Contests — Users can run contests of their own on BGG and other Geek sites, but these contests must be pre-authorized by our Community Manager. To learn how to do this, please visit this section of the BGG Community Rules.
