VGG 2017 Goals

If you're new to VGG: Welcome! If you're not: Welcome back! The VGG goals were on hiatus for a while but our community has grown since then and so has the activity around here. 2017 is looking to be a good year to give the site goals another go. We rely almost entirely on user submissions and contributions to succeed, thus we need all Arcadians (i.e. VGG users, or VGGers) to work together to ensure that VGG can become an informative and welcoming community for serious and casual videogamers alike. So step up, help where you can, and always strive to make VGG the best video gaming community on the web!

Like in years past, two special badges were handed out to participants:

These events are volunteer hosted challenges for the community. We also offer special microbadges to participants in these events:

	1800 Games beaten in the Games Beaten GeekList	Completed: 1,867 Beaten
	Play games on 50 platforms	Completed: 50 platforms played.
	Get 30 VGGers to play 5 games on 5 different platforms	Failed: Only 24 VGGers completed the challenge.
	Play the top 101-200 games on the VGG ranking list	Completed: All 100 games played.

These events are personal challenges, not community ones.
