Introduction

Vuoden Peli - Finland - gaming industry award since 1994

Vuoden Peli is the Finnish Game of the Year Award. There are 3 categories in total:

- Games for Children (since 1994)
- Games for Families (since 1994)
- Games for Adults (since 1999)

Games are submitted by their publishers; in June these games are announced. A jury then chooses their 3 finalists, which are published in August. Winners will be voted upon by the jury and representatives of retailers and announced early September.
