out of print

Many games are out of print. A game is considered "out of print" if there is no current publisher or the current publisher has no remaining stock and no immediate plans to reprint it. In addition, many out of print games are hard to find, but this is not universal and some out of print games are often readily available at retail for some time after they go out of print.

Out of print is often abbreviated "OOP".
